 Mr. Kamkutis is a life long resident of Lakewood. He attended Roosevelt Elementary School, Harding Middle School and graduated from Lakewood High School in 1978. Following his high school graduation, Mr. Kamkutis attended Bluffton College and earned a degree in Business Administration.
John and his wife, Cindy, have two children, both of whom currently attend Roosevelt. John is employed as a district manager for an insurance company. Mr. Kamkutis and his wife are members of the Roosevelt Elementary PTA.
Mr. Kamkutis serves on the Board of the Lakewood Youth Athletic Commission. He has been, and is currently, involved in volunteer coaching within the Lakewood District and with the Lakewood Soccer Association. Mr. Kamkutis has coached at the high school and college levels, including many years coaching at Lakewood and other area high schools. He also volunteers at the Nehemiah Mission, located on the near west side of Cleveland, and on various levels at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church and Pleasant Hills United Methodist Church Men's Club.
